Showreel Development Seminar

Dear All,

We have conducted a Showreel Development Seminar on saturday with approx 25 to 30 students.

we have give them the insights of studio requirement and the need for specialization. Students have been enlighten on the process of making of a showreel and explained the do's and don'ts of it.

Lot of students have a notion that the showreel has to be atleast 5 min and lot of students have made a showreel based on 2 topics like Modeling and Rigging and hence could not give their best, So this seminar was an eye opener to them and started to make their showreel allover again.

Through this Seminar we make the students understand that the showreel is their calling card and if they don't pay utmost attention to it they may not be considered for a good job.

Look this amazing work of AVATAR done in ZBrush by artist Scott Patton.He was part of the group of artists that Designed the Na'vi characters He was responsible for working out Jake (Sam Worthington) and Neytiri (Zoe Saldana) Digital sculpts with expressions as a proof of concept for the look of the Na'vi people. He also did the designs for Norm (Joel Moore) as well as the Grace ( Sigourney Weaver}.

I have decided to take the DFM course to a new level.I have started a brand new idea called as "CENEMATOGRAPH".This section will include the best movies of the great directors likes of Alfred Hitchcock,Arson Welles,Charli Chaplin,Satyajit Ray....I will explain the detail biography of the director and will show his one of the best movie.Now before that I will anouce the director of the month and ask student t0 submit the details of the director and his movie.And the student who's details are really good we will give him some gift like the dvd of any movie.In this way we can help student to enrich their knowledge beyond softwares.I am starting up with the Alfred Hitchcock and his best movie "Psycho".
